What kind of Church did Jesus want?
What kind of Church did Jesus want?

The above title was of British Evangelist and theologian Michael Green’s book “Who is Jesus Christ? – 12 things to ask.
While evangelizing and teaching new members, many people have judgmental view of the modern church, rather than of Christ Jesus.
There is no such thing as the “perfect Church”. There are however, of churches that are heading to the final goal.
Dr. Harry Ironside said of a paradoxical thing about this kind of church. “If you find a perfect church, do not attend lest you will ruin the church!” with this quote, there are two things to think of.
There is no way to find a perfect church, as we humans are not perfect. There are imaginations of what a perfect church looks like. But instead of what we want as a perfect church, Jesus Christ should be the front and center of a perfect church.
First, the church is a collection of members who have confessed that the Trinity, the father, spirit and the son is the one leading the church. Apostle Peter said, “You are Messiah, the Son of the Living God.” When Jesus asked “what do people say about me?” The church in Thessaly was a well-known church in the New Testament. It was because they had followed the right path of Christ.
Second, the church is a body of “Agape” of love.
The first church of Jerusalem was full of the spirit of the Lord and was a community of it. Jesus said, “By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another. (John 13:35)”
The Risen Christ had warned the church in Ephesus to find “the first Love”
Finally, the church has to follow the Word, spread it, and to disciple everyone.
The Risen Jesus Christ gave this command in Acts 1:8; “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes to you, and you will be my witness in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria and to the ends of the earth.” Apostle Paul asked the elders in the church of Ephesus to “…Now I commit you to God and to the word of his grace, which can build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified… To live by the word, to spread the word as the Word commands, and to teaching it correctly is the Church. That way we can be the leaders of the World as the light and salt.
If the church strengthens in these motives, wouldn’t the church be complimented instead of being judged? (Acts 2:47)
