Of Spiritual Freshness

It is already February. When I hike around the morning there are fresh springs sprouting, and seeing the shy flower buds popping reminds me of the arrival of spring. Compare to the last year the weather difference is slightly higher but the warm, morning sunlight reminds me once again it is spring.

I had flipped through the watercolor calendar that the members of our church had fundraised. There is color everywhere I look, reminding me of the intricate touch of the Creator. Looking at Psalms 19:7, The Law of the LORD is perfect, reviving the soul; the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple;

As spring approaches, I hope that the members of this church would not dry out but be full of life in activities.

How is that achieved? For someone to take root into the teachings of the Lord, they should be able to have good fruits in seasons following; “That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither-- whatever they do prospers.” (Psalms 1:3). There is plowing and planting of seeds during spring. I hope that during this spring, your hard land would be tilled and have plenty of spreading of the gospel’s seeds. I hope that this small booklet is helpful to tilling of the “land”.

I am glad to hear that there was a good review in the February edition of “The Open Door”. I give thanks to Pastor KwangUk Lim and many helpers, and of sponsors who were involved making the “March edition of “The Open Door”.
