Thanks Again and Again
Proverbs 3:6
Thanks Again and Again, (October 25th, 2002)
(Proverbs 3:6)

Whenever I walk around the park, I see a short, and dark faced lady in her 20s walking to her workplace.
She works in a new addition in Walgreens in the city where I reside. The shop is clean and well polished so I visit there often. I go there not only because the designed items are so attractive, but also how the workers there are so kind and generous. The first person I saw in that market was the previously mentioned lady. Whenever I see her handing me money back, I noticed that her finger joints are small, and one or two of them are not there. I was inspired that despite that, she is still smiling and with kindness. That morning, I had head to the Walgreens to pick up some medications. Since I had already purchased the medication and was passing through the door, I heard a bright voice of “Have a great day!”
I was feeling so great. Instead of being “me and that”, it was of “me and you”. Many people would know that nowadays, that attractively designed things are of importance. But in a recent study done by executives, sensible operation is also very important as well.
We all want great sermons, great program and great equipment as well. It is the part of the “attractiveness” of the designs that people want to be inspired, have worth in life and encourage. But if this only in surface, and not in the Spirit, the power of it is already faded.
The 19th District Meeting had ended in grace.
The attendees had increased by 24 from the previous meeting. It was a time to see the members had high interest. Also 20 of the pastor’s wives had attended as well. Even pastors from Korea, Japan and Canada had attended as well. The Bethel Church and the places we stayed were great. Everyone had attended on time on every meeting. Even the complicated airports pick up and hotel help had gone through smoothly.
I also think that not only those are the things that made it smooth, but also of the ones in charge of worship, praise, the host, sermon giving, pastor’s choir and other countless things, there were so many considerations, and hours of preparations done to this meeting. It was a great feeling seeing the pastors wives had all helped in area that were not seen. There were several deacons evangelists (JDSN) who had helped by getting a week’s worth of vacation. Especially Reverend In-Sik Sohn had even paid attention to our food as well.
It was the time when God’s grace was poured out unto us. I know that many of the associated churches had come to the early morning and had prayed for the Korean District’s growth and advancement. I had also specially asked those in Korea to pray for us. It was the outpouring of grace by God that the meeting was awe-inspiring. It is when we are all focused in God, and with God steering the meeting, it is great.
In the 19th C&MA district meeting, “in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight” (Proverbs 3:6) was achieved. I give thanks and praise to all those who had gathered and those who had prepared for this meeting. I pray that for the next years and on, everyone would be in plenty. I want to share the praise and thanks as we pass this Thanksgiving season.
