Congratulations!
Congratulations!

Around mid-October there was a call from the hospital. My experience with hospital calls was rather… unpleasant. Usually I get a call of “something is happened so seek medical attention now.” Or “The results were something so watch out for whatever.”

That day the doctor called me had a rather solemn voice so I was worried that something was wrong with my health. But the opposite happens. “Congratulations!” I was confused. Because I had a problem in my prostate when I last checked. It wasn’t a cancer, but still was not a pleasant experience. Other was because during the time I was living in New Jersey after my time as superintendant of the Korean district was over; I had a medical check and was Hepatitis B positive. These two were the problems I had in my health. I didn’t have any medical treatment for my prostate so I knew there wasn’t going to be good news for that.

Also Hepatitis B infection can lead to liver cirrhosis or liver cancer.

While I was the superintendent of Korean District, I had traveled a lot during 1 year. About 150 days were traveling abroad. Whenever I travel, I should eat well, but all the time I was at a restaurant. Probably it was from the combined fatigue and the food that caused the infection. After moving back to California about 7 years ago, I had the same diagnose. But they didn’t give me any medication so I had spent my days; about 2 years ago I had joined a program to examine my Hepatitis B. So every year, I had been examined twice.

The doctor said “Your Hepatitis B infection is gone.” This is unusually rare, so the congratulatory was needed. Of course, I had prayed about my health as well. I only had prayed that I would be healthy until I see the Lord. Around my age, it is normal to have lived this far, and there is suppose to be at least one or two disease that comes with. I give thanks to God that I am still healthy to this day.

While I was still living in New Jersey, I had attended a seminar in Los Angeles and doctor had called. I was having rising blood sugar, so I had to be especially careful. Also he told me to get the blood sugar test tool and for the next two months, check the rate daily. As an added precaution, he told me to be careful with what I eat and exercise more daily. So I had changed my food to vegetarian, and increased my walk to two times a day. The results were I was back to normal. Blood sugar is also normal. Thanks to that, as of these 8 years ago, I am now 30 pounds less.
I know that the Hepatitis B infection that should’ve stayed had just not disappeared from my exercises and my diet. I know that God had healed me and I believe it.

Thank God truthfully!

I also like to remember and thank those who had prayed for me.
